Terms of Service

Last updated: 14 July 2026

These Terms of Service apply to all products, event styling services, custom printing, equipment hire and other services supplied by Blove Events (“we”, “us” or “our”).

By placing an order, accepting a quote, paying a deposit or using our services, you agree to these Terms of Service and any additional terms stated on your quote or invoice.

1. Our Services

Blove Events provides services including:

  • Balloon decorations and balloon garlands
  • Artificial and fresh flower styling
  • Event backdrops and personalised decorations
  • Welcome signs, seating charts, decals and custom printing
  • Birthday, wedding, proposal and corporate event styling
  • Photo booth and event equipment hire
  • Light-up numbers, cake plinths, easels and LED signs
  • Delivery, setup and collection

All services are subject to availability, event location, venue access and safety requirements.

    2. Quotes and Pricing

All prices are stated in Australian dollars.

Delivery, setup, collection, parking, tolls, after-hours service and other additional charges may be quoted separately.

Quotes are valid for the period stated on the quote. Prices and availability are not guaranteed until the required booking deposit or payment has been received.

Any requested changes that affect the design, quantity, materials, delivery or labour may result in an updated price. Additional charges will be communicated before proceeding where reasonably possible.

    3. Booking Confirmation

An enquiry or quote does not reserve an event date.

A booking is confirmed only when:

    • The customer accepts the quote;
    • The required booking deposit has been received; and
    • The event details have been confirmed.

The remaining balance must be paid by the due date stated on the invoice. We may be unable to proceed with the booking if payment is not received by the due date.

    4. Booking Deposits

Once paid, the booking deposit is generally non-refundable if the customer cancels the booking or changes their mind.

The deposit secures the event date and covers initial consultation, administration, design and planning work, as well as reasonable costs and losses associated with reserving the date.

The booking deposit forms part of the total booking price and will be deducted from the remaining balance.

Where the amount retained exceeds the reasonable costs and losses resulting from a cancellation, any applicable remaining amount will be refunded.

  • Nothing in this section limits any rights available under the Australian Consumer Law.

    5. Cancellations and Rescheduling

Cancellation and rescheduling requests must be submitted in writing as soon as possible.

Refunds, credits or transferred payments will depend on:

    • The amount of notice provided
    • Work already completed
    • Materials already purchased
    • Custom products already produced
    • Supplier and staffing commitments
    • Reasonable losses resulting from the reserved date

Requests to change an event date are subject to availability. Additional costs may apply where new materials, staffing, supplier or delivery arrangements are required.

Please refer to our Deposit, Cancellation & Refund Policy for further details.

    6. Custom and Personalised Products

Customers must carefully check all personalised details before approving a design, including:

    • Names and spelling
    • Dates and times
    • Colours
    • Wording
    • Logos and photographs
    • Sizes and layout

Once a design has been approved and production has started, changes may not be possible and may incur additional charges.

  •

Custom products cannot normally be refunded for a change of mind after design approval, material purchasing or production has started. This does not affect your rights where a product is faulty or materially different from the approved design.

    7. Colours, Flowers and Materials

Colours may appear slightly different across computer screens, printed products, balloons, fabrics and flowers.

Fresh flowers, artificial flowers, balloon colours and other materials may vary slightly depending on availability. If a specified item becomes unavailable, we will discuss an appropriate substitution of similar style, colour and value where reasonably possible.

Natural variations, minor colour differences and reasonable design adjustments are not considered faults.

    8. Customer Responsibilities

The customer must provide accurate information about:

    • Event date, time and location
    • Venue access and loading requirements
    • Parking, stairs and lift access
    • Setup and collection times
    • Venue restrictions
    • Power supply requirements
    • Preferred design, colours and wording
    • The event contact person

Blove Events is not responsible for errors or additional costs resulting from incorrect or incomplete information supplied or approved by the customer.

    9. Venue Access and Setup

The customer is responsible for obtaining permission from the venue for delivery, installation and collection.

The venue must provide safe and reasonable access during the agreed setup and collection times.

Additional reasonable charges may apply where:

    • Access information was not disclosed
    • Stairs or loading restrictions require extra labour
    • Paid parking or venue charges apply
    • Setup is delayed by the venue or customer
    • Additional delivery or collection attempts are required

Please refer to our Delivery & Collection Policy for further details.

    10. Outdoor Installations and Weather

Outdoor installations are subject to weather, ground conditions and safety requirements.

We may adjust, relocate or decline to install equipment where strong wind, rain, unstable ground or another condition creates a safety risk.

Customers should arrange a suitable indoor or sheltered backup location where possible. Any cancellation or rescheduling will be managed under our Deposit, Cancellation & Refund Policy.

    11. Equipment Hire

All hired equipment remains the property of Blove Events.

The customer must take reasonable care of hired items and use them only for their intended purpose. Equipment must not be altered, dismantled, moved or sub-hired without permission.

The customer may be responsible for reasonable repair, replacement, cleaning or collection costs resulting from misuse, negligence, theft, missing items or damage beyond fair wear and tear.

A refundable security deposit may be required and will be stated on the quote or invoice.

Please refer to our Hire Terms & Conditions for full details.

    12. Electrical Equipment

Light-up numbers, LED signs, photo booths and other electrical equipment require suitable access to a standard power point.

Electrical items must be kept dry and must not be used outdoors unless Blove Events has confirmed that the equipment and conditions are suitable.

Customers must follow all operating and safety instructions provided.

    13. Customer-Supplied Content

The customer confirms that they have permission to use any photographs, logos, names, artwork, trademarks or other content supplied to Blove Events.

Blove Events may refuse content that is unlawful, offensive or reasonably suspected of infringing another person’s rights.

    14. Photography and Marketing

Blove Events may photograph completed styling and decorations for portfolio purposes.

We will seek permission before intentionally publishing identifiable photographs of customers or guests. Event photographs containing children will not be intentionally used for marketing without appropriate permission.

Personal information and photographs will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

    15. Website Information

We take reasonable care to keep website descriptions, images, prices and availability accurate.

Images are provided as examples and may not represent the exact final colours, proportions or arrangement of a customised setup.

If a genuine website pricing or description error materially affects an order, we will contact the customer to discuss a correction, alternative or refund.

    16. Consumer Guarantees

Our products and services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.

Nothing in these Terms of Service excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Where a product or service fails to meet an applicable consumer guarantee, the customer may be entitled to a repair, replacement, repeat service, refund or other remedy depending on the circumstances.

    17. Events Outside Our Control

Neither party will be responsible for a failure caused by circumstances outside their reasonable control.

These circumstances may include severe weather, venue closure, government restrictions, emergency conditions, road closures or other events that make performance unsafe or impossible.

Where this occurs, both parties will work reasonably toward rescheduling, an alternative service, credit or an appropriate refund after considering reasonable costs already incurred.

    18. Complaints and Disputes

If you have a concern about a product or service, please contact us promptly and provide your name, booking or order number and details of the issue.

We will review the matter and attempt to resolve it fairly within a reasonable time.

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia.

    19. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. The version applying to a confirmed booking will generally be the version provided or available when the booking was made, unless a change is required by law or agreed by both parties.
